Lillian Braunstein joined Fortis Insurance Partners in July 2023.   She excels in designing cost effective risk management and insurance programs for organizations having unique loss exposures.  Her broad expertise and relationships in the marketplace has positioned her to provide advice and consultation on insurance matters such as coverage contracts, alternative approaches and enhancement strategies as an ongoing service for implementing innovative risk and insurance solutions for her clients.  Lillian’s expertise spans all lines of commercial property and casualty lines of coverage including Liquor Liability, Workers Compensation and Employment Practices Liability.
 
With more than 35 years as an insurance professional, Lillian has focused on fostering long-term relationships with her carriers and clients.  She began her career working with several well recognized insurance companies handling liability, property and automobile related claims with a particular affinity for investigating and defending fraud cases.   This experience has led her to become a fierce advocate for her clients when they rely on her to assist them with claims, audit disputes, safety training, loss control and anything else they would need her support with.   

Lillian’s hands-on involvement with clients and leveraging loss cost best practices ultimately motivated her to move into more of a consultative and production role in the business.  In this capacity, Lillian’s primary objective has been to manage her clients’ total cost of risk while favorably impacting their bottom line.  Clients trust that she rigorously negotiates comprehensive coverage for the most competitive price, year after year.  Her consulting process encompasses program analysis and restructuring to accommodate distinctive individual and industry specific exposures.  

Lillian received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English Communication Arts in 1986 and Masters of Business Administration in Production and Operations Management in 1993 from St. Mary’s University, San Antonio, Texas.  She holds her Property and Casualty General Lines Agent (Texas), Adjuster and Group I licenses.
