Michelle serves as the vice president of operations for Fortis. In her role, she is the master of all trades overseeing administrative operations, accounting, licensing, agency management system administration, and carrier marketing activities. In addition, Michelle produces and manages her own book of business.

Michelle began her career on the insurance carrier side as a team leader in the commercial insurance division for State Farm. After State Farm, she switched her focus to the agency side and worked as an account manager and producer. She has also served as a middle-market underwriter for the Combined Group in Dallas before joining Fortis. Michelle brings a wealth of industry knowledge to our team.

In her spare time, Michelle rides dirt bikes and spends time with her six children and three grandchildren.

Michelle’s favorite animals are dogs; she has four of them and a cat who thinks he’s a dog.
